Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FieldIQ, operated by CompanyWRX. By creating a workspace you agree to them. Please read section 6 in particular — it concerns safety, and it matters more here than the usual boilerplate.

1. The service

FieldIQ is a subscription knowledge base for field service teams. It indexes your equipment records, job history and uploaded documents, and answers questions about them with citations to the source.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@gofieldiq.com if you believe it has been accessed by someone else. One workspace is for one business — do not resell access or share a login across separate companies.

3. Trial, pricing and billing

• Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. We do not take a card to begin it, and you are never automatically charged at the end of one.
• Pricing is per technician, per month. Starter is $39 per technician (up to five). Pro is $49 per technician with no seat limit. Annual billing is 20% cheaper per seat.
• Subscriptions renew automatically once started. You can change plan, change seat count, or cancel at any time from Settings → Manage billing.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal and your access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate partial months.
• If a payment fails we will retry and email you. Persistent failure suspends the workspace; your data is retained for 30 days.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice to the email on your account. Existing subscriptions keep their price until the following renewal.

4. Refunds

If FieldIQ is not right for you, email support@gofieldiq.com within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that, cancel any time to stop future charges.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload material you do not have the right to upload, including documentation licensed to someone else.
• Attempt to reach another customer's workspace or data.
• Probe, scan or load-test the service without our written permission.
• Resell FieldIQ output as a standalone product, or scrape it in bulk to build a competing knowledge base.
• Use FieldIQ for anything unlawful.

6. Safety — read this one

FieldIQ produces reference information, not engineering direction. It is generated by an AI model reading documents, and it can be wrong, out of date, or drawn from a document that describes a different revision of the same model.

• Any specific value — gas pressure, refrigerant charge, electrical rating, torque specification, clearance, flow rate — must be verified against the original manufacturer documentation before you act on it. FieldIQ cites its source for exactly this reason. Open the citation.
• Confirm the cited document applies to the specific unit, revision and installation in front of you.
• For gas lines, high-voltage work, pressure vessels, refrigerant handling, and anything governed by NFPA, NEC, IMC, UPC or ASHRAE, consult the manufacturer, a licensed engineer, or your authority having jurisdiction.
• Nothing in FieldIQ replaces licensing, training, permits, inspection, or your own professional judgment.

You are responsible for the work your technicians perform. CompanyWRX is not liable for work carried out in reliance on a FieldIQ answer.

7. Your data

You keep ownership of everything you put into FieldIQ. You grant us only the licence needed to host, index and display it back to you. We handle it as described in the Privacy Policy. On request we will return a copy of your documents and records.

Manufacturer documentation, being public information, may be indexed into the shared library available to all customers. Your own files are private to your workspace unless you explicitly mark them as shared.

8. Availability

We work to keep FieldIQ available and we will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on Starter or Pro. Enterprise agreements can include response-time commitments — email sales@gofieldiq.com.

9. Third-party services

FieldIQ depends on your field service platform, on Anthropic, Voyage AI, Stripe, Resend and DigitalOcean. If one of them changes or withdraws its API, some functionality may change with it. We will tell you when that affects you.

10. Warranty and liability

FieldIQ is provided "as is", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent the law allows, CompanyWRX's total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Suspension and termination

You may cancel at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other customers at risk — with notice wherever it is reasonable to give it. On termination we retain your data for 30 days so you can ask for a copy, then delete it.

12. Changes to these terms

We will email the address on your account at least 30 days before a material change. Continuing to use FieldIQ after it takes effect means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction.
